The Panthers are in Boston on Monday night, hoping to make it three straight wins on the road to open the season.
Florida followed up its 3-1 opening-night win at the Islanders with a 4-3 win Saturday at Buffalo. The Panthers’ special teams made major contributions, scoring two power-play goals and killing off all four penalties.
“I think all game, we were really buying into the system that we’ve created here,” Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad said. “We want to be hard on pucks consistently the whole game and not really give them much space. We looked fast out there.”
