The city of Boca Raton has big plans to upgrade its cultural arts showcase with an upgrade to the Mizner Park Amphitheater and a new performing arts venue in the adjacent plot at the north end of Mizner Park.
The Community Redevelopment last week approved a 94-year lease of the land to The Center for Arts & Innovation, which will be overseeing the project.
The Mizner Amphitheater, the site of community events like the Veg Festival, is getting a canopy. And the new facility will have space for local dance, theater, music and cultural organizations.
Construction is expected to begin in 2026.
