Rep. Dana Trabulsy in 2020 became the first Republican to represent St. Lucie County’s House District 84 in memory, and it looks like state Republicans are keen to keep it that way.
Between the Republican Party of Florida and the Florida House Republican Campaign Committee, Trabulsy’s campaign received $77,000 in cash and in-kind support – exponentially more than her Democratic challenger, Forest Blanton, has raised for his entire campaign.
Blanton pulled only $7,878 as of Oct. 21. He also loaned his campaign $15,000. In contrast, Trabulsy’s second term bid raised drew $332,000 counting donations to her personal account and two committees.
