Poll shows Miami-Dade voters oppose abortion ban, deporting Dreamers

Miami-Dade voters oppose a full abortion ban and deporting Dreamers, new polling shows.

South Florida-based Public Communicators Group surveyed 6,656 registered voters Oct. 12-21. The survey had a 2% margin of error.

Just 8% of Republicans back totally banning abortion compared to 3% of independents and 1% of Democrats. Only Republicans had a majority of respondents support overturning Roe v. Wade.

Meanwhile, voters overwhelmingly support keeping immigrants illegally brought to America as children here, but they disagree by party on how. Eighty percent of Democrats and a majority of independents favor a path to citizenship compared to 38% of Republicans.
