Florida Atlantic survives a close one in beating UAB

N’Kosi Perry  threw three touchdown passes as Florida Atlantic knocked off UAB 24-17 at FAU Stadium.

Still, it wasn’t easy. FAU’s Michal Antoine Jr. broke up a pass in the end zone with two seconds left to preserve the victory.

“Every game we go in, we talk to our players about keys to victory. And those keys don’t ever change. One of them is playing with fanatical effort. We can’t have our team allow our opponents to play harder than us,” Owls Coach Willie Taggart said.

“One of them is dealing with adversity. When things get tough, just keep playing.”
