Despite two players out due to injury and sickness, the Florida Panthers snapped the longest, active winning streak in the NHL Saturday, icing Seattle, 5-1.
The Kraken were held to one goal with a standout performance from goalie Spencer Knight, who racked up 35 saves. And center Carter Verhaeghe got things rolling for Florida with two scores in the first period, according to an ESPN game summary.
Center Sam Bennett also made it happen with three assists, ESPN reported.
