December started with new possibility for the Miami Heat to right its uneven start to the season, having taken down its playoff rival, the Boston Celtics last weekend.
Coach Erik Spoelestra told the Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman that the future is bright considering the team’s new, young talent.
Center Bam Adebayo, 25, and guard Tyler Herro, 22, represent an elite pick-and-roll combination, Spoelestra told Winderman recently. Multi-year contract extensions guarantee they are staying put.
“Our youthful players have significant playoff experience, more so than a lot of other younger players at equivalent age. And I think that makes our team unique.”
