The Dolphins’ decisive 23-17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday comes at a particularly tricky turn in the road for the team’s post-season hopes.
The loss moves the Chargers into the third wild card position, just behind the Dolphins. Worse for the Fish, three out of the next four games will be against teams with winning records and the Dolphins’ offense has stalled against teams with more wins than losses, the Sun Sentinel’s David Hyde notes.
The Chargers are now on the list of teams with winning records that have held the Dolphins’ offense to one touchdown or two.
