The Miami Heat snapped a three-game losing streak Monday against Indiana, winning 87-82, but it was a “harrowing finish,” in the Sun Sentinel’s estimation.
Miami scored at a level that tied a season low, but fortunately Indiana finished with a season-low 82 points.
As the game ticked to a close, Miami was up nine points, but an Indiana run quickly added 7 points. That brought the score to 86-82 as the game entered its final frame. Fortunately, Indiana suffered a turnover and two shots were missed.
The second of the Heat’s four-game trip continues against the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday.
