The FAU Owls men’s basketball team is soaring to heights it’s never before achieved.
On Monday, the same day the team received its first-ever top 25 ranking in the Associated Press poll, the Owls – ranked No. 24 – crushed Western Kentucky, 76-62. That win improves the team’s record 17-1 and stretching the team’s record-setting streak to a 16-game victory march.
As far as action, there wasn’t much suspense against the Hilltoppers for Monday’s game. The Owls blew the game open with an 18-5 run in the second half.
They are set to meet the University of Texas at San Antonio Thursday
