Veteran point guard Kyle Lowry had a break-out finish Sunday in the Miami Heat victory, 100-96 over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Pelicans’ 16-point lead at the half had turned into a two-point lead for the Heat in the final 3:03 of regulation play. But the Heat were looking shaky, until Lowry went red-hot. He scored nine consecutive points in the span of 1 minute, 42 seconds, according to the Sun Sentinel.
For a little more than a minute, it seemed like former All-Star Lowry was scoring from everywhere: 26 feet away, two driving shots, and an 18-foot pull-up shot.
