Miami Mayor Francis Suarez is hitting the road with a former official in Donald Trump’s administration to teach public safety best practices to police and local leaders.
The 10-city tour, beginning late February in Memphis, includes stop in Miami, Dallas, Columbus, Jacksonville, Manchester, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Des Moines and Columbia, South Carolina.
Funding comes from Public Safety Solutions for America, which former Trump adviser J’Ron Smith founded to fight rising crime.
Miami could reach its lowest crime rate since the 1930s, Fox News reported.
“We will share what we learned and help PSSA scale our success across America,” Suarez said.
