U.S. Reps. Maxwell Frost and Jared Moskowitz joined the powerful House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which boasts broad jurisdiction and legislative authority.
Frost, who also joined the Science, Space and Technology Committee, said he will promote transparency and fight “Republican extremist attempts” to politicize the Committee’s work.
Moskowitz, who secured a seat on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, vowed to “promote normalcy.”
“(We) need oversight that’s necessary and rooted in good government, (not) pizza gate, Hunter Biden’s laptop, Bar Mitzvah video, and Jewish space lasers,” he said.
Both are Vice Chairs on the congressional Gun Violence Task Force.
