Marlins’ Jazz Chisholm named cover athlete for MLB The Show 23 video game

For the first time, a Florida baseballer will be the cover athlete of the world’s top Major League Baseball video game.

Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm will grace the cover of the 2023 edition MLB The Show. Sony’s San Diego Studio selected the Nassau, Bahamas native after a season in which he led the National League in home runs and RBIs, among other stats.

“It was something I always dreamed of from when I was a kid,” the 25-year-old said during an MLB live stream last week. “I never thought it would become a reality as quickly as it has.”
