Two weeks into running for Miami Beach Mayor, former Rep. Mike Grieco already has data showing he’s a strong candidate for frontrunner.
He’s also already quarreling with another candidate for the job.
Grieco’s campaign Tuesday released polling results showing him with citywide favorability with “plenty of room to grow.”
He and former Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Góngora, who is running for Mayor too, also quarreled last week after Grieco revealed he’d secretly recorded a conversation they had about the race.
Grieco said the recording shows Góngora admitting to a crime. Góngora says Grieco broke the law by secretly recording him.
