Governor appoints three new faces to the Broward College board of trustees

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced three new appointments and one reappointment to the five-member Broward College District board of trustees.

The current Chair, lawyer Zachariah “Reggie” Zachariah Jr. of Greenberg Traurig LLP, Fort Lauderdale firm, has been reappointed to the board. Other appointees are:

• Cindy Kushner of Fort Lauderdale, a partner with Crowe LLP, which is a public accounting and consulting firm.

• Lawyer Alexis Yarbrough of Fort Lauderdale, the current vice chair of the Fourth District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission.

• Mario Zanotti-Cavazzoni of Weston, senior advisor of organizational transformation for a South American Football Association.
