The Hurricanes men’s baseball team has been hitting it hard – scoring seven consecutive wins along with 22 home runs in the season that’s not even two weeks on.
In the latest, the UM men pummeled Dartmouth 20-2 on Sunday.
Miami began the weekend third nationally with 15 home runs, according to the Miami Herald.
Sunday’s event was not without its drama, though. Coach Gino DiMare was thrown out for the game for the first time in his five-season head coaching career when he became angry at an umpire’s call that penalized a player for not heeding time limits between pitches.
