Concussions could keep Tua Taovailoa from his fifth year as a Dolphin

by carlislewillard

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa might have just finished his best season yet, but a fresh round of pixels keep forming around the uncertainty of his future with the team.

“League insiders” tell CBS Sports that Tagovailoa’s future is still murky, according to Sports Illustrated. “Conversations” are still happening, Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier said.

He could be  finishing out his rookie contract, signing for a fifth year or even a long-term deal. Or maybe nothing at all.

Tagovailoa led the NFL in passer rating last season but concussion protocols kept him from four regular games and one playoff game.
