Vice President Kamala Harris will be among several high-profile speakers at a climate summit on Miami Beach today.
On March 8, International Women’s Day, Harris will appear at Aspen Ideas: Climate, a four-day event on climate solutions.
She’ll join music star and actress Gloria Estefan onstage at the New World Center to talk about approaches to climate change and a new clean energy economy under President Joe Biden’s administration.
Other participants set to speak March 6-9 include Bill Nye “the Science Guy,” climate investor Tom Steyer and Meg Daly, founder and CEO of Friends of the Underline.
