A bill is already moving through the Legislature that would allow a death penalty sentence without a unanimous jury. The proposal was floated after three jurors rejected the death penalty for the Parkland shooter, prompting families of the victims to support lowering the threshold.

The newly declared House District 94 candidate has some interesting history, including online posts dubbing Hillary Clinton “Killary,” alleging former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is connected to a pedophile ring and calling environmentalist Greta Thunberg a “satanic minion.” She’s facing Jon Carter, a former staffer for term-limited Rep. Rick Roth.
