Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is raking in cash to keep Miami-Dade County’s most powerful local post.
Levine Cava’s campaign reported raising $250,000 less than two weeks after she launched her re-election bid and just days since she announced key campaign staff hires.
Because she filed March 1, her official fundraising numbers for the month are not due until April 10.
Campaign Manager Kayla vanWieringen called the haul a “key milestone.”
“Since our launch, the response has been overwhelming and shows Daniella’s strong community and institutional support from across the county,” she said.
She is running unopposed for now, county records show.
