The Florida Atlantic University Owls men’s basketball team continued their improbable flight to the big time. The team made the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the program’s history.
The men’s basketball team put away UAB on Saturday in a blow-out win, 78-56, according to FAU officials, clinching its tournament spot.
The Owls’ record now stands at 31-3, the greatest in its history. They are champions in C-USA for the first time since joining the conference 10 years ago.
And now it is game on to play Memphis in Columbus on St. Patrick’s Day with pundits expecting “a barnburner.”
