The Miami Heat’s house on Biscayne Boulevard has a new name: Kaseya Center.
The Miami-Dade County Commission this week inked a 17-year naming-rights agreement worth $117 million with a Miami-based software company of the same name.
The naming agreement with FTX went under after the cryptocurrency exchange melted into bankruptcy in January. It was called The Arena by the county and then formally renamed Miami-Dade Arena in January and now this.
The team itself has been plagued by a similar uncertainty as the Heat’s failure to get a seeded playoff position means the team must play-in to get there, starting Tuesday.
