Miami Springs kept an existing City Council member and welcomed two new ones, including a returning official who won a razor-close contest.
Voters chose real estate appraiser Jorge Santin for the Group 1 seat and incumbent Council member Jacky Bravo in Group 2.
In Group 4, former Council member Victor Vázquez reclaimed his old seat by a margin of just 20 votes.
The three were sworn in Monday alongside incumbent Mayor Maria Puente Mitchell and incumbent Group 3 Council member Walter Fajet, both of whom won re-election unopposed last month.
All five seats are up for grabs again in 2025.
