This Earth Day, the Miami Museum of Graffiti will present “Reduce, Reuse, Remix,” an exhibit with an ecological twist: All the artwork is made using air pollution.
The April 22 show will feature pieces by artists Ahol Sniffs Glue, Abstrk, Daniel Fila and others.
Each piece works with AIR-INK, a technology donated by Rabble Wine Company that involves attaching filters to exhaust pipes to capture pollution before it hits the air. The resultant soot is then purified into ink.
Tickets will benefit The CLEO Institute, a women-led climate advocacy group whose board President, Daniel Dietch, serves as Mayor of Surfside.
