No. 1 seed Boston outplays Florida Panthers

by The 100 Companies

The Panthers hockey team is up against the Boston Bruins to start its postseason and it’s going to be rough, the Miami Herald reports.

These adversaries didn’t just win the Presidents’ Trophy this year. They won more regular-season games than anyone else in NHL history.

They did outshoot the Boston team Monday, but not enough shots went into the goal net, the Herald reports. The final score was 3-1.

But there are reasons to take heart. Most of the Florida’s 5-on-5 numbers rank among the best in the NHL: third in shots, fifth in scoring chances and fifth in goals.
