The Florida Panthers now face a daunting 3-1 deficit in the team’s playoff series against the Boston Bruins after Sunday’s 6-2 pummeling. Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves in his first start of the playoffs for the Panthers, but the Bruins’ Linus Ullmark made 41 of them before he was sent to the penalty box for fighting with Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk with three minutes remaining, the National Hockey League’s site reports.
The Panthers are on the brink of elimination as they go to Boston Wednesday for Game 5. One more win and it’s a wrap for the Bruins in the best-of-seven series.
