Miami-Dade County this week announced a relief program will provide $1,500 in assistance to eligible Miami-Dade County homeowners hit by skyrocketing costs if they submit proof documenting their hardships.
Acceptable documents are mortgage statement, homeowners insurance statements, homeowner or condo association fee statement or past due electric or water bills. More details are here.
To be eligible, applicants must submit proof that household income is no more than 140% of the area median income, or less than $136,500 for a family of four.
Application portal assistance is offered at one of the Community Resource Centers (CRCs) during regular business hours.
