Gov. Ron DeSantis appoints 2 Miami-Dade County Court Judges

An Assistant U.S. Attorney and a junior partner at a Miami law firm both received the Governor’s appointment to become Judges in Miami-Dade County Court.

Before she started at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Yara Lorenzo Klukas of Coral Gables clerked for U.S. District Court Judge James King. The graduate of St. Thomas University College of Law fills the vacancy of Judge Javier Enriquez, now in the 11th Judicial Circuit.

Jorge Perez Santiago of Pinecrest comes from Stumphauzer Kolaya Nadler & Sloman to fill the vacancy Judge Luise Martin’s retirement created. He earned his juris doctor from Georgetown University.
