Prominent South Florida lawyer and lobbyist Ron Book is being inducted into the Tulane Law School Hall of Fame.
The honor recognizes Book, a Tulane graduate, for his achievement and service.
Book is renowned for his pro-bono work for underserved communities, particularly the homeless and survivors of childhood sex abuse.
He is the longtime Chair of the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust and the Lauren’s Kids Foundation, which he founded some 15 years ago with his daughter, Sen. Lauren Book.
He also provides free counsel to the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence.
Book said he is “deeply honored” to receive Tulane’s recognition.
