Miami Heat’s Sunday romp puts the Finals one victory away

by The 100 Companies

The Miami Heat are on the verge of melting the Celtics into a puddle, now just one victory away from the NBA Finals.

Sunday night’s 128-102 thrashing made it all but inevitable: No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 playoff deficit like Boston now faces.

The Heat’s comeback from the regular season could well be one for the history books, however. Only one other team, the 1998-99 Knicks, has made it into the Finals as a No. 8 seed. And that year was a shortened regular season, so the Heat are poised to reach a singular achievement.
