Ahead of this year’s Fourth of July festivities, comic book lovers, cosplayers and fanatics of various ilk will hit the Miami Beach Convention Center for Florida Supercon, a three-day celebration of geekdom.
This year’s convention, which runs from 10 a.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Sunday, features autograph opportunities with scores of artists and actors, hundreds of events and panels, and popular gaming and after-hours entertainment.
Guests this year include Meagan Good from “Shazam!”, James Marsters from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Kristian Nairn from “Game of Thrones” and Miami-born novelist and comic book scribe Alex Segura, among many others.
