One of the Republican Primary contenders to represent House District 93 was recognized as Young Professional of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches.
Brandon Cabrera, real estate developer, is in a three-person Republican contest to face freshman Democrat Katherine Waldron in next year’s General Election.
“My heart is very full,” said Cabrera when accepting the award.
He’s aiming to be the first Hispanic to represent the inland district that includes Wellington, portions of Greenacres and western Boynton Beach. But first, he has to defeat Wellington Mayor Anne Gerwig and Norcom Mortgage Vice President Chris Mitchell.
