Biden Victory Fund taps Coral Gables powerbroker Chris Korge as Finance Chair

The Democratic Party is depending even more on well-connected Coral Gables lawyer and real estate developer Chris Korge to win next year.

Korge will serve as Finance Chair of Biden Victory Fund, the joint fundraising vehicle of President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign. He’s held the same title with the Democratic National Committee since his election to the post in 2019.

Biden’s campaign announced Monday the appointment of Korge, who since 1992 has been among the most sought-after fundraisers in Democratic politics. He’s also served as Finance Chair for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Alex Pinelas and Andrew Gillum, among others.
