West Palm Beach re-elects Christina Lambert, approves charter changes

by The 100 Companies

West Palm Beach voters elected Commissioner Christina Lambert to a fourth and final two-year term, choosing the incumbent over a single challenger by a 44-percentage-point margin.

Lambert, who defeated first-time candidate Matthew Luciano to keep her District 5 seat, said she was grateful for voters’ overwhelming support and hinted at a potential run for Mayor in 2027.

She will earnestly consider a run, she said, “when the time is right.”

Voters also approved two ballot measures. One will double the residency requirement for city candidates to 12 months. Another will prohibit the Mayor from seeking outside employment and private business investments.
