Don’t want to spend July 4 at home? Here are free, family-friendly alternatives:
• Broward – Fort Lauderdale’s is hosting a 4th of July Spectacular from noon-9:15 p.m. in and around Las Olas Oceanside Park, complete with food, activities, entertainment and a performance by En Vogue!
• Miami-Dade – A 4th of July Celebration will run from 5-9 p.m., featuring live performances, food trucks, fireworks and a drone show.
• Palm Beach – 4th on Flagler, which runs 6-10 p.m. in West Palm Beach, brings three stages of live music, food, a 5K run and 18 minutes of fireworks over the Intercoastal Waterway.
