The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is highlighting the arrest of a man accused of submitting thousands of fake petition signatures, including those of dead people.

Henos Joseph faces 13 charges of using a deceased person’s identification. He was arrested in Broward County after an investigation by state and Palm Beach County agencies.

Political committee Florida Voters in Charge paid Joseph to collect signatures for a failed 2022 petition drive supporting a proposed North Florida casino.

Police are also seeking the arrest of his relative, Alex Joseph. They apprehended another person, Haggi Amirally, for the same crime. All are Miamians.
