Republican poll shows 67% of voters are undecided in Primary race for Miami-Dade Sheriff

Recent polling shows most likely Republican Primary voters haven’t yet decided whom they’ll support for Miami-Dade Sheriff.

Dark Horse Strategies, working for the campaign of retired Miami-Dade Police Lt. Ernie Rodriguez, surveyed GOP voters last month.

Its finding: 67% are undecided.

Despite $900,000 in combined spending through June among 11 GOP candidates, the highest anyone is polling is 10% – a distinction belonging to Florida Trooper and former Miami Commissioner Joe Sanchez.

Six percent said they prefer former Miami-Dade Commissioner and Police Lt. Joe Martinez, while just 1.5% said they’re behind Assistant Miami-Dade Police Director Rosie Cordero-Stutz, whom Donald Trump endorsed.
