Highways in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties are among the 10 deadliest in Florida, a new ConsumerAffairs analysis of vehicular fatalities in 2024 shows.
I-95 in Broward placed third deadliest overall, behind U.S. 19 in Pinellas and Pasco counties, with 62 deaths since 2020.
The same thoroughfare saw 56 deaths in Palm Beach, placing eighth on the list.
U.S. 1 in Miami-Dade placed ninth with 49 fatal crashes.
Sheridan Street in Broward, meanwhile, was the deadliest local road in Florida with 12 deaths, followed by 45th Street and Jog Road in Palm Beach, which had nine deaths apiece.
