Gov. Ron DeSantis is supporting businessman Anthony Aguirre over another Republican running for House District 94 who’s amassed endorsements from Donald Trump and his allies.
“Anthony Aguirre is a strong conservative,” DeSantis said. “His opponent and her husband have donated money to Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and my former opponents, Andrew Gillum and Charlie Crist.”
DeSantis was referring to Moms for Liberty Palm Beach Chair Meg Weinberger, nicknamed “MAGA Meg” for her strong support for (and from) Trump world.
Weinberger and her husband, Eric, donated to DeSantis and Trump. But they also gave to the Democrats DeSantis listed.
