Democrats got good news from a poll showing Kamala Harris with a 15-point lead over Donald Trump in Miami-Dade.
The survey, commissioned by Democratic political strategist Christian Ulvert’s EDGE Communications, signals a return to the status quo after Ron DeSantis won the county in 2022.
Loser: Broward high school students
The county fast-tracked the installation of metal detectors at all high schools, which triggered massive delays on the first day of school.
It’s a double loss for students, both for having to deal with the delays and for living in a reality where these detectors are even necessary.
