Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney Alexcia Cox notched another big endorsement this month, as new polling shows her with a double-digit lead over her closest opponent in the race for Palm Beach State Attorney.

Cox added a nod from the Palm Beach Police Benevolent Association, which joins others from the Florida Fraternal Order of Police, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and outgoing State Attorney Dave Aronberg.

Polling by Democratic consultant Christian Ulvert’s EDGE Communications also found Cox, a Democrat, holds a 16-point advantage over her Republican opponent, lawyer Sam Stern.

She’s also 23 points ahead of no-party lawyer Adam Farkas, pollsters determined.
