She will replace former Judge Robert Panse, who retired in July.
Mullinax will finish the remaining two years of Panse’s term before facing election in 2026.

Officers here disgraced themselves and earned the agency an avalanche of bad press due to the handling of an alleged speeding incident with Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Yes, Hill seemed to be needlessly chippy with officers, but nothing warranted the force officers used in response.
