Winner: Florida International University
FIU ranked No. 1 in social mobility in the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings of colleges and universities released this week.
FIU also climbed 18 spots in the overall rankings to land among the top 50 public universities in the country, at No. 46.
Loser: Palm Beach County Elections Office
Many counties have begun sending out ballots to overseas voters. Palm Beach County emailed some of those ballots out, only to realize they misspelled Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s name as “Tom Walz.”
Thankfully, the mistake was confined to 257 ballots before being fixed.
