In one day, Farmer advised a defendant to wear a condom on probation, recited gay wordplay from a ’90s comedy show and nearly dropped an f-bomb.
The faux pas prompted his Broward Circuit superiors to move him from the court’s criminal division to its civil one.
It’s not the first time Farmer’s mouth attracted trouble. As a Senator, he drew censure for “obnoxious” comments about current Senate Democratic Leader Lauren Book, whom he said would have trouble doing the job because she had young children.
