Some 1,500 pardons President Donald Trump issued for participants in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot included Miami’s Enrique Tarrio, a former Chair of the “Western chauvinist” Proud Boys group.

Tarrio was freed from a 22-year prison sentence. His attorneys told The Associated Press his release came hours after Trump pardoned him Monday.

Trump also commuted the sentences of numerous Oath Keepers, which the Southern Poverty Law Center list as an extreme far-right group. Freed Florida members included Kelly Meggs, Joseph Hackett, Kenneth Harrelson and David Moerschel.

He did the same for Proud Boys member Joseph Biggs, an Ormond Beach resident.
