Winner: Torey Alston

Alston is taking over as Broward College President. The Board selected Alston to lead the institution for what he called “the best job in Broward County.”

The move comes after Alston served on the Broward County Commission and the Broward County School Board, both per appointments from Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Loser: Chuck Millar

The Palm Beach Gardens City Council candidate is attracting scrutiny as he mounts a bid for the Group 4 seat against Republican firefighter John Kemp.

Turns out he previously faced stalking accusations and has a lengthy arrest record, including domestic battery and two DUIs.
