After evaluating 160 cities across the U.S., Carewell named Palm Coast, Florida, the No. 1 best travel destination for seniors. The study considered key factors such as lodging costs, dining and bars, walkability, safety and senior populations.
A few hours north of Miami, Palm Coast offers excellent weather, plenty of sunshine and many different outdoor activities. Highlights include beautiful beaches, waterfront parks, nature trails and a thriving art scene. There are even dog-friendly beaches such as Bay Drive Park and Jungle Hut Park.
For those looking to travel further, Clifton, New Jersey and Evanston, Illinois also made the list.
