Michael Barnett is heading to the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees, courtesy of another appointment by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis named Barnett, a former Palm Beach County GOP Chair, to the panel months after he lost his appointed seat on the Palm Beach County Commission.
He joins five others on the Board: Chair Jon Harrison, Vice Chair Daniel Epstein, members Patrice Bishop and Melissa Friedman-Levine, and student trustee Ryan Steeghs.
Barnett holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.
His appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
