What’s next for the Miami basketball program?
The Hurricanes wrap up the regular season on Saturday against North Carolina State. There will be no postseason for the Canes.
Head coach Jim Larranaga retired on Dec. 26, leaving the program to navigate the rest of the season without him.
Reports say Duke assistant Jai Lucas will be named as the next head coach for Miami, perhaps as early as this weekend. Lucas has an excellent reputation as a recruiter. But that was at Duke, one of the country’s blueblood programs.
